The USCG Base Borinquen library suffered extensive damage during and after Hurricane Maria, losing nearly 80% of its collection to water damage and mold. The library also lost its home in La Plaza when the building was condemned several weeks after the storm passed. Volunteers sprung into action, helping replace most of our books and restoring our library to what it is today.

The Borinquen Library and Education Center is a small library at USCG Borinquen Base. We serve all active duty, retired, and MWR eligible patrons. Please stop by to check out a book, use the computers, or for one of our many activities.
