The Air Station Borinquen library suffered extensive damage during and after Hurricane Maria, losing nearly 80% of its collection to water damage and mold. The library also lost its home in La Plaza when the building was condemned several weeks after the storm passed. Volunteers sprung into action, helping replace most of our books and restoring our library to what it is today.

Please come visit us at our new locations at 115 and 117 Northeast Rd. 115 is our main library building with 117 being our Media Center. The Media Center has computers and printers for our patrons’ usage, as well as space available for studying/tutoring, and a Makerspace for STEAM activities. Please, do not forget to check the weekly Beacon email or the MWR Library Facebook page for our hours and upcoming events.  We look forward to seeing you at the library!
