Monday-Sunday | 5am-10pm
Restricted Access: Authorized for Coast Guard Active Duty, Coast Guard Dependents, Coast Guard Employees, and All Active Duty Military.

The Coast Guard recognizes sports as an essential part of health and physical fitness as it directly impacts the readiness of our workforce. Coast Guard MWR policy supports active duty athletes by offering financial assistance to defray participation costs in sporting events authorized by the MWR Sports Participation Grant program.

The program supports grants for individual competition entry fees. Team entry fees, memberships, league dues, licenses, training programs, equipment, etc., are not permitted. If competing in an individual sports competition during NAF year 2026 (1 Feb 26 through 31 Jan 27), you may request a sports grant.
