Something to read about, Desecheo is a mid-size island to the west side of Puerto Rico. During World War II it was used as a bombing range and later for survival training. Nowadays belong to the National Wildlife Refuge.

Now, the island is not used for war purposes and is in the warden of the Natural Resources department of Puerto Rico. However, some of its natural resources, flora and fauna are becoming extinct, luckily, the group ” Island Conservation” is doing something to help the birds of Desecheo.
